The reason
HM Revenue & Customs Outstanding Amount SPAM warnings are appearing is because an adware has contaminated your computer. These scam advertisements will attempt to convince you to call scammers pretending to be technical support so that they could sell you worthless tools or gain access to your PC remotely. If these warnings are caused by an advertising-supported software, they will be incredibly invasive, show up over and over again, no matter how many times you close them. You may have encountered the adware contamination when you were installing free programs. Just to be clear, the alerts won't damage your PC so as long as you do not call the scammers, no harm will be done. The reason calling them is not a wise idea is because they would attempt to fool you out of a lot of money, or some malware would be installed. Permitting some dubious tech-support remote access to your system can turn out to be a very bad idea, so you need to be careful. And if you're still concerned about the alert you are getting, it's not real, and neither your OS nor your information is in jeopardy. If you want to prevent the intrusive pop-ups, just eliminate HM Revenue & Customs Outstanding Amount SPAM.
