Hdmr ransomware are false warnings trying to convince you that there is an issue with your system. You should never trust these types of alerts, nothing they state is true, unless the issue is entirely unconnected. If you're dealing with adware , the ads will be very invasive. If you carelessly install free applications, it isn't shocking that an adware is installed. Just to be clear, the alerts are pretty harmless by themselves, and if you don't call the scammers, no harm will be done. The con artists on the other side of the phone will request remote access to your system, and then ensure that they have fixed the problem (which does not even exist in the first place), for which you would be charged. Allowing some suspicious tech-support to have remote access to your computer could turn out badly, so you should be cautious. You can be calm that this infection indicated in the alert it isn't real, and that your OS is safe. If you want to prevent the invasive adverts, just eliminate Hdmr ransomware.
