This is a typical tech-support scam that tries to scare users into calling certain numbers where they would be fooled into giving remote access to their machine. If you're dealing with adware , the warnings will be highly intrusive. An advertising-supported software is often attached to free software, and if you don't deselect it, it will install alongside the application. The advertisements are harmless, and as long as you do not fall for the scam, your system is not going to be jeopardized. If you did call them, you would have to deal with competent con artists who would imitate fixing your system, and then request an unreasonable amount of money. You should never call the numbers in these questionable ads, and you should also never grant access to your OS to shady people.
